Volcanoclastic rocks

(Figure) THE VOLCANOCLASTIC ROCKS

VOLCANOCLASTIC ROCKS (from the words "Volcanoes" and Greek "Klastos", which means, broken into pieces, crushed * EN: volcanoclastic rock; DE: vulkanoklastische Gesteine, Vulkanoklasten; FR: roches volcanoclastiques; ES: rocas volcanoclasticas; RU: вулканокласты) are the rocks, which are representing by themselves the mixture of the clumps and debris (from the very large sizes to the smallest sizes) of the loose, compacted, or sintered lava and slag material of the volcanic eruptions, sometimes with the admixture of the sedimentary rocks.
