VIBRATORY FEEDER (EN: vibrofeeder; DE: Vibrationsaufgabevorrichtung, Vibroschub, Vibrationsspeiser; FR: distributeur vibrant, alimentateur vibrant; ES: alimentador vibratorio; RU: вибрационный питатель) is the installation for the transloading and classification of the mining mass within the transshipment complexes at the open-pit mines in case of the flowing and cyclic-flowing technologies. They conditionally distinguish the vibratory feeder proper, and the vibratory feeder-screen. The actuator of the vibratory feeder (of the vibratory feeder-screen) is inertial or eccentric. The vibratory feeder with the inertial actuator is produced according to the one-mass (see the Figure, a, b, v) and two-mass (see the Figure, g) schemes. Within the one-mass machines, there are used the vibrators of the non-balancing (with the rotating perturbing force) and self-balancing (with the directional perturbing force) types. Within the two-mass installations, which are comprising the load-carrying tool, vibrator, working elastic connections, and shock absorbers, there exists the reactive mass, as which there serve the special heavy frame or the vibrator itself. The vibratory feeder with the eccentric actuator is most often produced according to the one-mass scheme. Within on e of the types of these machines (see the Figure, d), the load-carrying tool is connected with the foundation with the help of the elastic elements, while the eccentric vibrator has been mounted immediately onto the foundation. Other installations (with the more modern structure) have the support in the stationary point of the system, while the eccentric actuator has been installed onto the oscillating mass (see the Figure, e), to which there belong the two load-carrying tools, or the load-carrying tool and the reactive mass, the eccentric vibrator, working elastic connections, and supporting struts.

The peculiarity of the vibratory feeders-screens (of the SVG type), which are used for the loading of the trunk belt conveyors from the hopper, and also for the separation of the oversized lumps, is that the load-carrying tool of such machine is the rigid welded trough, within which there are placed the grid-irons, which are dividing the box into the compartments. The oscillatory system is tuned for the far hyper-resonant mode of the work.

The vibratory feeders-screens, which are purposed for the movable loading places of the complexes, are the movable installations (of the PVG type). The working tool of the machine is made of the two separate grid-irons, which are oscillating in the antiphase. The machine rests on the elastic suspension, and is fixed on the sled. The relative displacement of the grates ensures their effective cleaning, and prevents the clogging with the cargo, which is transported. As the actuator, there have been used two paired inertial vibrators of the elliptic type. The two-mass oscillatory system of the installation is of the resonant mode of the work. Within the places for the transloading of the rock from one trunk conveyor onto another conveyor, for the protection of the belt against the wear, they install the vibratory feeders-screens (of the KVG type) with the working tool in the form of the rigid welded trough, the bottom of which represents by itself the grate of the grid-irons. The one -mass oscillatory system of the vibratory feeder-screen is tuned for the far hyper-resonant mode of the work. The performance of the vibratory feeders-screens is 2000 tonnes per hour (in case of the angle of inclination of the load-carrying tool of 10 degrees), the frequency of the oscillations is 730 cycles per minute, the angle of the installation is up to 15 degrees.
