VIBRATIONAL PUMPING INSTALLATION (EN: vibration pump; DE: Vibrationspumpe; FR: pompe de vibration; ES: bomba vibratoria; RU: вибрационная насосная установка) moves the liquids on the account of the mechanical oscillations of the working tool-vibrator and (or) of the products, which are transported. They use the vibrational pumping installation for the pumping of the water from the shallow boreholes, for the extraction of the petroleum (the experimental-industrial works), and so on. The oscillating movements of the vibrator (see the Figure) and of the medium are caused by the generator of the impulses.

The directional flow of the liquid is formed with the help of the valves. The performance of the vibrational pumping installation for the petroleum is 10-160 cubic metres per day, the pressure is 100-120 metres, the efficiency is 0.3-0.7, the working frequency is 10-20 cycles per second, the amplitude of the oscillations is 5-20 millimetres. The disadvantage of the vibrational pumping installation is the probability of the destruction of the vibrator because of the fatigue.
