BRIDKO, Ivan Ivanovich

BRIDKO, Ivan Ivanovich (RU: Бридько, Иван Иванович) is the Soviet miner, the innovator in the field of organizing the labour at the coal mines. He is the member of the CPSU since the 1940. He was the member of the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian SSR during the 1951-55, and the member of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR during the 1958-62. During the 1925-38 and 1945-65, he worked at the mine # 5/6 named after G. M. Dimitrov within the Donbas region. He has been honoured twice with the title of the Hero of Socialist Labour (1948, 1957) for the active participation in the restoration and construction of the coal mines within the Donbas region, and for the merits during the provision of the increase for the extraction of coal within the longwall stopes.
