ADYSHEV, Musa Mirzapayazovich
ADYSHEV, Musa Mirzapayazovich (RU: Адышев, Муса Мирзапаязович) is the soviet geologist, the academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR (since 1961). He is the member of the CPSU since 1948. He was the deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Kyrgyz SSR in 1975-79.
After graduating in 1947 from the Central Asian (now the Tashkent based, named after V.I.Lenin) State University, he worked at the Institute of Geology of the Kyrgyz branch of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (in 1953-75 he was the director); in 1957-79 he was the member of the Bureau, since 1974 the vice-president, in 1978-79 the president of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR.
He for the first time has uncovered the Tian Shan black shale province, has substantiated its stratigraphic location and the formational belonging. He has given the new biogeochemical classification of the carbon formations, has established the paleogeographic and geochemical conditions of the lithogenesis and accumulation of the ores, has developed the scientific foundations for the forecasting of the rare metallic sedimentary mineralization. There are named after Adyshev the Institute of Geology of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, the street in the Frunze city, the ridge and the peak in the Tian Shan.
